Carved wooden mask with cracked black pigment, oval eye and mouth holes, and incised curving lines across the surface
Carved wooden performance mask with dark lacquered surface showing age cracks and worn reddish-brown underlayer; asymmetrical facial features with oval eye holes, a slit mouth, and a small round opening at the chin; deeply carved wrinkles across the forehead and cheeks.
Painted wooden Noh theater mask with an oval face, pale ivory ground with aged, worn surface, depicting fine incised hairline at the brow, narrow eyes with small openings, red-lipped mouth showing blackened teeth.
