Japanese lacquer inrō with striated reddish-brown ground and two relief birds in gold and silver, with a circular black lacquer netsuke and mauve braided cord
Japanese lacquer inrō with braided purple cord and netsuke. The rectangular inrō features red and black lacquer with fine streaked ground and a gold-inlaid flying bird in relief. The spherical netsuke is gold-colored with carved floral motifs. A separate round lacquer container with red and black mottled surface sits nearby.
