Print with two pen-and-ink landscape sketches stacked vertically. Upper scene shows hippopotamuses resting on a riverbank with rocky outcroppings and mountains in the distance. Lower scene depicts a large flock of sheep resting and standing in a rocky landscape with hills behind. Cursive handwritten caption in German script between the two compositions.
Black and white lithograph with dynamic composition of muscular nude figures. Upper register shows intertwined bodies in turbulent motion; lower register features two large standing and seated figures flanking a crowd of helmeted soldiers. A text block in German Gothic script and the title "Den Kleinmütigen!" appear at bottom.
