Lauren Greenfield
Emily, 10, at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where she has lived in the Presidential Suite for three months with her family and household staff, 1993. The family’s Bel-Air mansion was seized by the IRS after Emily’s real-estate mogul father pleaded guilty to tax and bankruptcy fraud. He was later sentenced to a six-year prison term.1993
