18th-century silk robe à la française on a mannequin, plaid pattern in chestnut, rose, and gold, with wide panniers and lace-trimmed sleeves
18th-century silk robe à la française displayed on a white mannequin in profile, featuring a striped woven fabric in gold, rust, and cream tones, with a fitted bodice, elbow-length sleeves trimmed in white lace ruffles, and a full trained skirt; accessorized with a powdered wig adorned with white fabric ornaments.
18th-century robe à la française displayed on a mannequin from the back, in silk taffeta with gold, rust, and pink plaid stripes; fitted bodice with pleated back folds, ruffled sleeve cuffs, and a full floor-length skirt; topped with a white lace cap.
