Curatorial Notes

Michael Goodman was the artist-designer responsible for the interior decoration at San Francisco'’s Pacific Stock Exchange Luncheon Club, where Diego Rivera painted his fresco Allegory of California (1931). Rivera often portrayed the people he worked with and included them in his mural projects; Goodman posed for several sketches.
