Hanging scroll with silk brocade mounting in blue-green and salmon tones. Central painting in ink shows a kneeling robed figure leaning on a staff beside a small fire, rendered in loose brushwork. Columns of Japanese or Chinese calligraphy appear to the left of the figure.
