Sculpture in the form of a clothes iron stood on its heel, dark charcoal gray with thirteen protruding nails arranged diagonally across the sole plate
Cast iron clothes iron stood upright on its heel, with a row of metal tacks or nails protruding horizontally through the sole plate. The back panel bears cast decorative scrollwork and the letters "B.F" and "N.4"; the left edge is inscribed in white lettering: "CADEAU · 1921/1963 · 6/10 man Ray."
