Japanese lacquer inrō with gold-relief figural decoration of a robed figure and shishi lion-dog, connected by a braided purple cord to an ivory-toned netsuke of a man riding a shishi
Black lacquer inrō of four stacked compartments, threaded on a braided purple cord with a gold bead ojime; a gilt metal figure of a running warrior decorates the front face. Attached netsuke depicts a gilt figure of a man seated atop a shishi lion-dog.
