Folding fan, fully opened, with painted paper leaf depicting three figures in 18th-century dress in a wooded landscape; lower leaf border decorated with gilt and polychrome geometric and floral panels; sticks of bone or ivory with gilded lacquered guards, and a pale ivory rivet at the base.
