Man's Court Ensemble1858

Decorative arts display of a complete late 18th-century men's court ensemble on a white mannequin: black coat, floral-embroidered cream waistcoat, black knee breeches, white stockings, gilt-hilted sword, and tricorn hat
Late 18th-century men's suit displayed on a mannequin: dark wool coat with silver filigree buttons over a cream silk waistcoat densely embroidered with polychrome floral sprays in pink, green, purple, and gold, edged with metallic trim.
Embroidered waistcoat in cream silk, densely stitched with polychrome floral sprays of pink roses, blue and purple tulips, and green foliage along the front edge and pocket flap, with scattered small motifs across the body; worn over a white shirt beneath a dark coat.
