Japanese cotton robe with deep navy ground, resist-dyed allover pattern of overlapping rectangular placards bearing calligraphic Japanese characters in white, blue, and teal
Indigo-dyed cotton hanten jacket displayed flat, back view, with resist-dyed design of scattered fuda (paper tags) and tanzaku (poem slips) in white and blue, each bearing Japanese characters; large circular mon at center back with bold kanji in blue on white ground.
