A Silver Bowl, Mexican, Last Half 19th century. 8 1/2" dia., 4 3m" ht. Low hemiglobular body with lobed and everted brim, on a stepped and flaring foot with cyma profile. The lower body with bold ribbing, upper body valanced with chased leaves upon a matted ground, same leafage repeated on the foot. Marks are the Mexican eagle, a crown mark, and maker's name LIN/or. Note: Though there is no sub- stantiating evidence, this bowl is said to have been the property
