Hexagonal brass clock face with silvered dial ring bearing Roman numerals and fleur-de-lis motifs, surrounding a central gilt plate with engraved foliate scrollwork and two ornate steel hands.
Hexagonal pocket watch or clock, open case viewed from above, revealing a gilt brass back plate engraved with dense foliate scrollwork and a central pierced wheel mechanism with steel components; the hinged lid exposes a domed bell on the interior; engraved Latin script visible along the lower edge of the plate.
