Square lacquer tray with clipped corners, dark reddish-brown ground inlaid with iridescent mother-of-pearl. Central panel depicts a landscape scene with two robed figures beneath a hanging lantern, pine trees, rocky outcroppings, and stylized waves rendered in shimmering pink, green, and gold tones. Border decorated with scattered auspicious objects and a fine gold scrolling pattern.
Square lacquer tray with notched corners, deep brown ground inlaid with mother-of-pearl depicting a garden landscape with pavilions, rockery, blossoming trees, and two seated figures; gilt scrolling border frames the central scene and outer rim.
