Alexis Smith
Leaves of Grass1977

Not on view
Accordion-style artwork of nine mint-green panels in a horizontal row, with gold lettering reading 'LEAVES OF GRASS,' a small grasshopper illustration, musical notation, and coral-pink bands across each panel
Mixed media work composed of seven pale blue-green panels arranged horizontally, each displaying a small centered object: two coins, an orange measuring tape, a vertical matchstick, a one-dollar bill, a wooden stick, postage stamps, a gray handprint, and a worn banknote. Faint horizontal pink lines run across each panel.
Mixed-media accordion-fold work on pale mint-green panels, featuring small isolated elements across eight sections: a landscape image, stacked color swatches in yellow, ochre, and green, two orange beetle-like insects, a handwritten musical score, a thin vertical line, and a green star, with horizontal salmon-pink bands across each panel.
