The Waikiki Theater was built in 1936 in a unique Tropical Moderne style on Kalakaua Ave....
The Waikiki Theater was built in 1936 in a unique Tropical Moderne style on Kalakaua Ave. The theater had a garden, fountain, lobby with ornate Moderne wall murals, ceiling fresco, and outdoor auditorium. It was demolished in 2005.
