Maryam Zandi was one of the few women photojournalists to document the revolution; her carefully framed and often provocative compositions testify to her talent and her bravery. To maintain her role as an objective witness, Zandi sought to compose a photographic memoir documenting the progression of the revolution and its immediate aftermath.
