The artist (1897-1977). E. A. Buck (stamp, verso); [Galerie Wolfgang Ketterer, Munich]; sold on 26 November 1973 (lot 398) to Robert Gore Rifkind (1928-2019), Beverly Hills; given in 1982 to LACMA.
